Welcome to Manila Elementary School!

Manila is a K-6 school and part of Alpine School District. We are situated in the Northfield Neighborhood of Pleasant Grove, Utah. We have around 850 students. The school first opened in January of 1983 but the students and staff had already been meeting in a neighboring school since August of 1982 while they waited for the building to be ready. After Christmas they moved in, ready or not.

Since the fall of 2005 we have been operating on a Modified Extended Day schedule. Track A students arrive at 8:00 and leave at 2:15 while the track B students get here at 9:15 and stay until 3:30. We have 3 specialty classes (Music, P.E., and Computers). Reading and Math are worked on in the small-group time when only half the students are here.
